Esther

Dr. Esther Wallen is a career coach and consultant who has spent nearly two decades helping students and clients establish and actualize their professional development goals.

She is an active member of her community, who serves on the Evanston Public Library’s Board of Trustees and as a voice on the Racial Equity Task Force. She is a lecturer for Oakton College, where she teaches management courses, including Learning and Development for the Business and Professional Services Department and she recently served as Oakton’s Temporary Career Coach for The Emory Williams Academy for Black Men. In addition, Esther has held  academic and administrative roles for colleges and universities throughout Chicagoland.

Esther has attained certifications from the Center For Credentialing and Education, National Career Development Association, and the Professional Association of Resume Writers. She also obtained a Doctorate in Education with a specialty in Leadership in Innovation and Continuous Improvement from Concordia University-Wisconsin, a Master of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism both from Michigan State University.
